Being Your Coach

If you already have a coach who is in contact with you and helping you maximize your results — GREAT!!  If you’d like to use my website as a place to get additional motivation and tips while     keeping your current coach — that’s fine!  I think of myself as part of a network of coaches who are here to you maximize your results.  It’s not about the coach, it’s about YOU!!  If that’s you, then don’t switch!  You don’t need to switch.

However, if you are unfortunate enough to have a “dud coach” (one who doesn’t keep in touch, doesn’t keep you motivated, doesn’t post tips or helpful advice), you DON’T HAVE TO STAY WITH HIM/HER!!  Like I said before, this is YOUR transformation, YOUR fitness journey, and you have every right to pick a coach that will help you get the most out of yourself.

If that means you’d like to make a coach switch to me, GREAT!  Or, if you feel like I’m not a good fit for you as a coach, it wouldn’t hurt my feelings at all if you want to switch coaches to someone else.  I am most interested in your success, not in whether or not I’m your coach.

You are a free agent!  Go where you want.  But I would encourage you that when you do choose / switch to a new coach,  commit to that coach.   You can learn from lots of people, but you will have more success if you develop a relationship with your coach and the other people on your team.  As far as I’m concerned, when someone chooses me, I commit to them.  Those who have asked me to be their coach get my top priority for answering questions, responding to e-mails, and being available.  Those who ask questions that aren’t on my team still get my time and attention, but only after I’ve taken care of those who are on my team.  I hope you who are on my team see that when I say I am committed to your success, I really mean it.  If not, let me know!

If you’d like to make a coach switch, it’s quite quick and simple, and just requires you to send an e-mail to coachrelations@teambeachbody.com.  In that email, tell them you’d like Michael Ispas, #167394 to be your coach.  Include a CC of that email to me (michael.ispas@gmail.com) so that I will know you are applying for the coach switch and so that I can follow up with you and get you started.

I hope that clears up the coach switch confusion!

Bring it!
